Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to this year’s edition of the Dorman High School Chapter of the National Honor Society. We are looking forward to another year of association with the most academically promising students at Dorman High School.
While no problem is anticipated from a group of this caliber, the faculty sponsors of the club wish to make clear to all members and parents the high expectations regarding student behavior. According to the National Council, our members are expected to exemplify the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Any member involved in behavior unbecoming to a high school student (stealing, cheating, lying, using controlled substances such as drugs or alcohol, etc.) or who receives any type of disciplinary action from the school resulting in out-of-school suspension or expulsion will be in jeopardy of losing his or her membership.
We, the faculty sponsors, hope this year will be a valuable year for our club and its members. If at any time during the school year you wish to contact us, we will be happy to speak with you.
Bobbie Jean Shepard
